Nancy Lou Ann Silvey, met the embrace of her savior on January 7, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on December 1, 1942, in Webb City, Missouri, to Harry and Maxine Sterling. Nancy was a radiant beacon of love and laughter, a constant source of support, and a woman whose sense of humor never failed to bring a smile to those around her. Nancy was a living testament to this truth, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate to know her.

Nancy retired from Display Tech (formerly known as Motorola) in Joplin, Missouri. However, it was not only in her professional life that Nancy showcased her talents. She loved to bake bread, Nancy's hot rolls became a treasured component of family gatherings. Her love for baking was only surpassed by her fervent love for her family and her church. She was a beacon of faith and a stronghold of familial love, offering unwavering support to those she held dear. As a loving mother and widow, her strength and resilience were awe-inspiring, and her care for her family and community was a source of constant warmth.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harry and Maxine Sterling; siblings, Carlis Sterling, Cheryl Poindexter and Mike Sterling. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Gary, Jr.) Mills of Carl Junction, MO and Cindy Broady of Webb City, MO; brother, Sherwin Sterling of Carl Junction, MO; grandchildren, Gary (Lorietta) Mills III of Seneca, MO, Lindsey (Brandon) Grob of Denton, TX and many great and great-great grandkids. Nancy Silvey was one of those who sought and found not only how to serve, but how to love, to laugh, and to live with an authentic, spirited joy.
