Troy Lee Fleetwood Sr., 82, of Aurora passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 in his home surrounded by family. He was born April 5, 1943 in Springfield, MO., the son of William and Violet (Bryant) Fleetwood. He worked for the City of Aurora street department for over 40 years until his retirement

Survivors include two sons, Troy Fleetwood Jr. and wife May of Aurora, MO. and Amos Fleetwood and wife Denise of Aurora, MO.; one daughter, Violet Atkinson and husband, Gary of Aurora, MO.; one brother, Ray Fleetwood of Billings, MO.; two sisters, Millie Tubbs and Jan Henson both of Aurora, MO.; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Thelma; three brothers, Cotton Fleetwood, Larry Wayne Fleetwood and Bob Fleetwood.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12 at 2:00 PM in the Peterson Funeral Chapel with Rex Mooneyham officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00 PM until service time in the funeral home.
