Barbara Diane Roland, age 41, Webb City, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Mercy Hospital from injuries she sustained in a car-pedestrian accident.
Barbara was born November 29, 1973 in Oxnard, California and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life.
She worked in the health care industry as an aide for disabled adults. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Barbara married William 'Billy' Roland on August 12, 1988 in Joplin. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Janet Roland and Sherrie Roland, both of Joplin, Flesicia Packer, Webb City, Sara Otto, Carl Junction; one brother, Shawn Dawson, Wood River, Illinois; a sister, Chris Cook, Joplin; and five grandchildren, Johnathon, Dainella, Damarion, Scarlett, and Henry.
Services are planned for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Tony Stoddart will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will serve as pallbearers. A visitation is planned for Friday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
