Georgia Bishop, 73, passed away on July 27, 2018 at her residence.
Georgia was born on Nov. 18, 1944 in Theodosia, MO to George Edward and Carrie Anna Mae (Shockey) Friend.
Georgia married Dannie Bishop on Oct. 2, 1965 in Kansas City, MO and he preceded her in death. Georgia was a devoted, loving wife and mother. Her family was the pride and joy of her life. Georgia was the sister that was always there and ready to help anytime. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Lucinda Bishop, Neosho and Theresa Jennings and husband, Chuck, Neosho; 5 sisters, Lillie Jackson, Eva Scott, Margaret Wright, Kathie Curtis, and Dorothy Crosby, all of Ava., MO; several nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, Georgia is preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Everett Friend and Jessie Friend.
The family will hold a memorial graveside service on August 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Souder, MO.
