(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Chris Scott Dodge, age 64, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 8:22 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026, at his home. He was born September 12, 1961, in Urbana, Illinois, the son of William Samuel and Ellen (Reese) Dodge.
Chris was the owner/operator of Let us Make You Shine Carpet Cleaning. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the lake, watching Nascar, wrestling, and was an extremely outgoing person.
On June 2, 2004, he married Becky Ann Reidle, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Chris is survived by his wife of 21 years, Becky; one daughter, Erin Dodge and her husband, John, of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, William Dodge and his wife, Denita Tiller of Aurora Missouri, Serenity Dodge of Springfield, Missouri and Nevaeh Dodge of Tolono, Illinois; five great-grandchildren, Dakota Tiller, Millie Dodge, Delilah Dodge, Hudson Dodge and Amirah Graff; one sister, Stephanie Purdue of Springfield, Missouri and two stepsons, Field Logan of Aurora, Missouri and Jason Sparks and his wife, Josie, of Miami, Florida.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, William, and Ellen; two brothers, Vic and David Dodge and two sisters, Sue Ann Rios and Sherri Warren.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Clio Cemetery south of Aurora.
