(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Lynn Schooler, 80, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Maple Tree Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Carthage.
Lynn was born on February 1, 1945, to Harold Schooler and Laverna (Ray) Thornberry in Carthage, Missouri. After graduating high school, Lynn received his bachelor’s degree in theoretical mathematics. He worked as an accountant and computer programmer in Kansas City, Missouri, for 40 years. He was a member of Center Point Church in Carthage, where he was baptized.
Lynn is survived by his brother, John Schooler (Taka) of La Palma, California; his sister, Pam Richter (Scott) of Corona, California; and his nephew, Rob Castleman.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Castleman.
There will be a funeral service for Lynn at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Ulmer Funeral Home, in Carthage, Missouri.
