Tammy Henderson

(From Nichols Funeral Home)

Tamela "Tammy" Henderson, age 67, passed away on January 17, 2026, at home in Grove, Oklahoma, after a short battle with cancer.

Born on July 11, 1958, in Downey, California, to Richard and Phyllis Chase, Tammy grew up in Southern California and graduated from Esperanza High School in Anaheim. In 1992, she made the move to Grove, Oklahoma, where she would build a life rooted in community and connection.

Tammy dedicated much of her professional life to customer service. She worked as a sales associate at Walgreens for two decades, where her friendly and easygoing nature made her a familiar and welcome face to many. Later, she continued her career at Harps, bringing the same warmth and dedication to her work.

Outside of her career, Tammy found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful relationships. She loved playing bunco and cherished time spent with family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and brought her immense happiness.

Those who knew Tammy will remember her as outgoing and kind—someone who could light up a room with her presence and make others feel at ease with her kind spirit.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory, sons, Chris Fink and wife, Sara, of Jopin, MO., Tim Fink and wife, Hilary, of Grove, OK, grandchildren, Jax, Grace, Brooklyn and Damian; sisters, Laura Dickinson and Chris Hover, both of Grove.

Family memorial services will be held at a later date.
