Mary Lee England

Mary Lee England was born to the late Judge Louis Ray and Betty Sue (Casey) England on February 11, 1944, in Neosho, Missouri. Mary passed away on January 25, 2026, at Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri.

Mary Lee was a member of the 1962 graduating class at Neosho High School. She continued her education, obtaining an associate’s degree at William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri. She went on to Northeast Oklahoma at Tahlequah and earned her bachelor’s degree. Mary Lee’s love and patience shone brightly through her choice of occupation, teaching first and second grades as well as special education in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years. She became a Mary Kay distributor, Sears Customer Service Representative in Tulsa, and worked at Scholastic in Neosho as a Customer Service Representative.








After the death of her father in 1993, Mary Lee returned to Neosho to care for her mother. She joined many civic groups and served on several committees throughout her lifetime. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Neosho where she served on various committees and was a member of the choir. She was an active member and past President of Fortnightly, Newcomers, TOPS, Red Hat Society, Silver Follies, Bosom Buddies, Relay for Life, and Widow to Widow.

Mary Lee was known as an animal lover, displayed kindness to children, and let her love for her family change the direction of her life. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit. 






 

Survivors include one brother, James (Sally) England, nieces and nephews: Daniel (Julie) England, Casey England, Patrick (Tanya) Brewer, Natalie (Marcelo) Mancheno, Sarah Kollmeyer, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services for Mary Lee will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30pm, with the Funeral beginning at 1:30pm. Graveside Services will immediately follow at IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.



Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
