Hager Dixon

Hager Lee Dixon, age 62, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home in Mount Vernon, MO. He was born in LaGrange, IN on Saturday, May 4, 1963; son of Glenn and Irene (Smith) Dixon. He served in the U.S. Army. 

Hager could start a conversation with anyone about anything. He enjoyed spending time with others, sitting outside in the sun, mushroom hunting in the woods, cooking, and fishing. He traveled around the country and enjoyed road trips. He saw a lot of country as an over-the-road truck driver. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be missed by many. 








Surviving are the following: two daughters, Emily (Mikey) McCullah of Republic, MO and Erica Lynn Dixon of Ft. Wayne, IN; two grandchildren, Evan Dixon-Hull and Ella McCullah; a sister, Angelia (Anthony) Mosley of Zephyrhills, FL; three nieces, Delana, Denise, and Danielle; and many friends.

Welcoming Hager to heaven includes his parents, Glenn and Irene Dixon and a sister, Rhonda Faye Dixon.

Hager was cremated at his request. Graveside service will be at Naomi Old Regular Baptist Church Cemetery in Hollister, FL on Saturday, February 21, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM with Terry Fuller officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
