George and Jaunda moved from Phoenix, Arizona to the Medoc area where they operated a dairy farm from 1943 to 1993. Jaunda supported her husband George in his church ministry all their married life. She loved fishing and taught many of her grandchildren how to catch, clean and cook fish. She was a noted horsewoman who was known to be able to ride ‘anything with hair’. She and her sister-in-law Lavonne Williams always contributed homemade chicken-and-noodle dishes to the October church fundraiser along with others but their dishes were always gone first.
