Mary Louise Garner was born on December 19, 1926 in Shamrock, OK to the late William Marion Garner and Eva (Cassity) Garner. Mary was a graduate of Cassville High School, Class of 1944; and later attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She married Edward England on April 24, 1949 in Cassville, MO; he passed away on July 10, 2006. Mary worked as Deputy County Collector for Jasper County, MO, Secretary for the Director of Curriculum Carthage R-9 School district, and at Jasper County Title. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Carthage.
Survivors include; one son; David A. England, US Army (retired), Carthage, MO; and two nieces, Dr. Janet Lynn Kavandi (husband John), Houston, TX, and Debbie Ann Thompson (husband Mark), Springfield, MO.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Knell Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO. Rev. Ron Franklin will officiate.
