Bill L. George, age 72 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Tuesday June 13, 2017 unexpectedly at his home.
He was born February 14, 1945 in Webb City, Missouri to Clyde and Cordia (O'Banion) George.
Bill enjoyed horses, gardening, mowing his yard and working on lawn mowers. He loved his grandchildren and spoiled them as often as he could.
He is survived by two sons, Dennis George, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Danny George, Webb City, Missouri; one daughter, Diane Alumbaugh, Lamar, Missouri; three brothers, Jim George, Joplin, Missouri, Tony George, Marshall, Missouri, Clifford George, Marshall, Missouri; one sister, Pat Robinson, Chetopa, Kansas;eight grand children, and 12 great grand children.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Roy Sanders, Lloyd O'Banion, Don George; and three sisters, Naomi Spicer, Berti McCarty, and Mary Bunch.
The family will hold a memorial service at the Carterville Cemetery at a later date.
