Patty Ann Phillips of Miami, OK passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017at Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO. She was 82.
Patty was born August 15, 1934 in Douthat, OK to Logan and Hazel Woods. She graduated from Picher High School in 1953 and had lived in Picher all of her life before moving to Miami in 2007. She was a bookkeeper for Neal Norton Motors in Miami, OK and Consolidated Supply in Treece, KS. She was Assembly of God faith.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Jay Woods and Dennis Woods and 4 sisters Helen Scrivner, Janelle Woods, Imogene Moore and Lucille Abernathy.
Survivors include 2 sons Bill Phillips and wife Vickey of Joplin, MO and Keith Phillips of Joplin, MO, her daughter Connie Ross and husband Jack of Miami, OK, 6 grandchildren, 16 grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Rev. Kristy Bauer will officiate. Pallbearers were Beau Ross, Michael Phillips, Kalen Ross, Michael Horn, Matt Horn and Cole Horn. Honorary Pallbearers were Caleb Phillips, Gage Horn, Ryan Thomure and Wyatt Ross. .
