May Margaret Webber

May Margaret Webber passed away gently at home on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 8:05 in the evening. With family by her side, she left this world in peace, confident in her salvation.

May Margaret was born to Harold and Velma Schooler on September 1, 1930 on a family farm outside Jasper, MO. One of six children, she loved music and enjoyed singing in a trio with her sisters. 

She met Lloyd Webber at Carthage High School and they were married on March 21, 1952. Together they provided a safe and loving home for their sons Daniel and Steven.May Margaret and Lloyd loved each other deeply. They worked hard together and lived simply. They served the lord at Carterville First Baptist Church, Liberty Baptist Church in Webb City and as volunteers with Missouri Campers on Missions. Until his passing in 1997, May Margaret and Lloyd were seldom apart and they found joy in helping their sons as they established their own families and lovingly assumed the role of grandparents. May Margaret was known for her generosity, ever present smile, kindness, and love which she shared freely with her family and everyone she came in contact with. May Margaret is a Christian and was a devoted member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Her love of God was always her guiding light and through her witness and faith she touched the lives and hearts of friends and family alike who remember her now in their gentle tears of love and loss. 

 May Margaret is survived by a sister Bonnie Ziler of Avilla, MO; sons, Steven and his wife Teresa (Land) Webber of Oologah, OK., and Daniel and his wife Jerri Richardson of Joplin, MO.; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Aaron, Megan, Madelyn, and Austin; three great grandchildren Seth, Ethan, and Tru and a new great grandchild arriving in September.Just as their souls have been reunited in Heaven, May Margaret will rejoin her husband Lloyd in rest, side by side, in Park Cemetery of Carthage, Mo.

Visitation will be held at Liberty Baptist Church of Webb City (Tom and Aylor) on Sunday, June 18 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Liberty Baptist Church on Monday, June 19 at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to express their thanks to Hospice Compass and Home Instead for their care and support which allowed May Margaret to remain safe at home.
