Judy Edwards

Mrs. Judy Edwards, 74, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Judy entered this life on March 5, 1943 in Carthage, Missouri to the union of the late Arthur and Helen (Green) Chatterton. After her mother preceded her in death as a child, she was raised by Durward and Dorothy Brown. She worked several years at area hospitals as an L.P.N. She was united in marriage to Bobby Edwards on May 1, 1992 in Miami, Oklahoma. Judy enjoyed dancing, reading, crocheting, journaling, collecting 4-leaf clovers for her grandchildren and co-workers, as well as spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Michael; and three grandchildren, Jade, Dennis and Trisha Kisling.

Judy is survived by her husband, Bobby of the home; children, Traci Osborn and husband, Rodger, Wentworth, Missouri, Sandra Kisling, Anderson, Missouri, Clayton Edwards, Newton, Mississippi, Robyn Adler, Sarcoxie, Missouri, Debbie Kingrey and husband, Kraig, Joplin, Missouri, Michael Neal and wife, Christine, Arkansas City, Kansas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Brown, Springfield, Missouri, David Brown and wife, Donna, state of Kansas, Greg Brown and wife, Theresa, Republic, Missouri; sister, Lisa Volden and husband, Al, Kansas City, Missouri; as well as a host of dear family and friends throughout the community.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, July 6, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Traci Osborn. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and may be left at the funeral home.
