Delores M. Johns, 85, Neosho, entered into rest on June 15, 2017 at her home, following an extended illness.
Delores was born Dec. 2, 1931 in Hays, Kansas and moved to Neosho from California. She was a homemaker, a lifetime member of the Eastern Star in Stella, MO and a devout Christian. She will be missed by all of her family.
Delores married George Noah Johns on July 24, 1948 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Rosemary Ludwig and husband, Kurt; Pat Mohling and husband, Tom and George Lee Johns; grandchildren, Shannon Cushman, Steffany Cushman, Derryk Ludwig; great grandchildren, Tyler Allen, McKenna Allen, Justin Perry, Chace Perry, Rand Perry, Gracey Herrera and Naomi Ludwig; great great grandchildren, Lylah Allen and Jonas Allen. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Johns; sisters, Mary Ann Hale, Shirley Bieker and Mary Jane Bieker and brothers, Melvin Bieker and Eugene Bieker. Delores has been taken for cremation and a private family graveside will be held at a later date with Rev. Steve Gillmore officiating.
