Joshua Paul “Josh” Hynes, age 32, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
He was born March 31, 1985 in Monett, Missouri and grew up in Cassville, where he graduated from high school in 2003. He was a gifted musician and loved fast cars and motorcycles, adventures of every kind and spreading laughter everywhere he went. At the age of 19 he was disabled in a car accident and resided in Cassville, Arizona for six years and then Joplin. He was a member of The Sheep Shed Church in Neosho, Missouri and previously attended Corinth Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Kathy Combs and her husband Rick of Joplin, Missouri; his father, Kevin Hynes and his wife Debbie of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; two sisters, Misty Carrier and her husband Chubby of Duson, Louisiana and Angel Hynes of Lancaster, New Hampshire; two step-sisters, Shawna Barker of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Candice Combs of Carthage, Missouri; one step-bother, Billy Barker of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; two nieces, Maya Carrier and Lilly Livengood and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Fohn Funeral Home at Cassville, Missouri. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery at Cassville.
