Edna Rose Johnson, age 65, a resident of Joplin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 11, 2017 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin.
She was born June 19,1951 in Independence, Missouri, to the late Jewell Brewer.
On September 15,1991, she married Ken Johnson, in Carl Junction, he survives of the home.
She worked as a psych tech for the Ozark Center.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Billy Stricklin, and his wife, Alisha, and Michael Stricklin, both of Joplin: three grandsons, Gage, Gavin and Christopher Sticklin and a granddaughter, Chesea Stricklin.
Memorial services will be held Monday, June 19,2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, with Rev. Chris Sloan, officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
