Thomas Earl Bennett, age 76, of Oronogo, Mo., passed away on Thursday June 22, 2017, at his home, following an illness.
Thomas was born on September 13, 1940, in Webb City, Mo., the son of the late Russell H. and Lois (Smith) Bennett. He has been a lifetime area resident. He served in the Missouri National Guard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webb City, Mo. He owned and operated a farm near Oronogo, Mo.
He married Deanna Campbell on September 11, 1965 in Joplin, and she survives. Additional survivors include one son Brian Bennett and wife Holly, Oronogo, Mo.; one daughter, Marci Siler and husband Will, Shelbyville, Ky.; one sister, Carolyn Arnold of Carl Junction, Mo., and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary during a time of visitation from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday June 30, 2017 at the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
