Frederick Heisten, 90, passed away October 14, 2017 at his home in Carthage, Missouri. Frederick was born March 4, 1927 to Harry and Nellie (Goodnight) Heisten. Frederick served in the United States Army during World War II and a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Frederick was a lifetime Carthage resident where he owned and operated Heisten Electric Service for over 50 years. Frederick was a member of Grace Point Church of Carthage, Missouri.
Frederick was united in marriage to Norma Jean Heisten June 1, 1950 in Carthage, Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 23, 2014.
Frederick is survived by two sons Calvin Heisten and Marvin Heisten both of Carthage, Missouri and three sisters Pauline Maxson of Colorado, Joyce Hollstein of Texas, Noveta Burnett of Colorado.
Frederick is preceded in death by his wife, parents and one sister Eva Duckworth.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday October 20, 2017 at Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday October 19, 2017 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
