Judson Paugh

Judson Edmund Paugh, 90 passed away October 14, 2017 at the home of his daughter Melody where he resided since 2013 in Carthage, Missouri. Judson was born October 11, 1927 in Carthage, Missouri to Phillip Eugene Paugh and Nina Ermine “Bogue” Paugh. He was a longtime area resident and farmer he spent time at Grand Lake in Oklahoma, wintered in Texas but always called Carthage, Missouri home. Judson worked as the assistant superintendent for National Biscuit Company where he retired after 36 years. He served in the Army during World War II and was stationed stateside in Seattle Washington. 

Judson was united in marriage to Doris Wolsey June 30, 1945 in Carthage, MO she precede him in death April 2, 2005.

Judson is survived by one daughter Melody Nichols of Carthage, MO, and one son Willis Paugh and wife (Marilyn) of Carthage, MO, six grandchildren Judson Eugene Paugh and wife (Lisa), Dr. Leslie Hamlett and husband (Dr. Sean Hamlett), Misty Nichols, Andrea Smith and husband (Dustin), Joshua Nichols, and Hailey Dininger and husband (Chad), seven great grandchildren.

Judson is preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, one sister and one son-in-law, Terry Nichols, and one grandson Dylan Paugh.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Fasken cemetery east of Carthage. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com
