(From Knell Mortuary)Billy Joe Thomas, 51, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, at his home. He was born on June 3, 1971, in Carthage, Missouri the son of the late Calvin Thomas and Jerrye (Taft) Thomas. Billy attended Webb City Schools growing up and worked at the Pancake Hut as a Cook. He was a good son, brother, and dad. He loved spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by a son, Joey Thomas (Karya), Joplin, Missouri; a sister, Kellie Thomas, Webb City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kaiya, and Jivie Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Huffman, and Walter Jesse Thomas.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Knell Mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the Billy Joe Thomas Memorial Fund in care of the Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
