(From Ozark Funeral Home)Clyde Paul Marshall, age 92, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life peacefully in the comfort of his home on Tuesday evening, January 6, 2026, from complications of a recent stroke. He entered this life on September 24, 1933, in Water Valley, Arkansas, one of nine children born to the late Frank Cyrus and Alma (Hopkins) Marshall.
Clyde’s service in the United States Army demonstrated his commitment to his country, and upon his honorable discharge, he ventured to California, a move that would shape the rest of his life. It was there he met and married his beloved wife, Beverly June Roberts on June 23, 1956. Their union was blessed with four children, and together they embarked on a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising a family.
In 1967, Clyde and his family made a pivotal move to Anderson, Missouri, where they purchased a farm on F Highway. With a passion for the land and the animals he tended, Clyde raised cattle, horses, poultry, and hogs, and was known for baling a tremendous amount of hay each year. His farm was not just a place of work but a home where he instilled the values of hard work and perseverance in all who knew him.
Clyde's love for his farm was only matched by his love for his family. He is survived by his son, Thomas Marshall and wife, Lisa, of Seneca, Missouri; three daughters, Lori Jackson and husband, Glen, of Noel, Missouri, Sharlene Bannister and husband, Paul, of Anderson, Missouri, and Wanda Shoemaker and husband, Bill, of Tiff City, Missouri. His legacy continues through his seventeen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly on June 11, 2009; three grandchildren, Curtis Marshall, Shawna Dibble and Shannon Burleson; three great grandchildren, Kailee Grissom and Tanner and Cody Quinn; and his eight siblings.
Clyde's life was a testament to the values he held dear: hard work, commitment to family, and a deep connection to his farm. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.
