(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Travis Bebee, 52, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on January 4, 2026, in his hometown. Born on October 9, 1973, in Joplin, Travis spent his life rooted in the community he loved.
Travis was a man of vibrant spirit and deep compassion. He had an outgoing personality and a remarkable sense of humor that made him instantly approachable. His natural ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Whether through a warm smile or a shared laugh, Travis made people feel seen and valued.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and embraced every moment with enthusiasm. A true motorcycle enthusiast, Travis cherished the freedom and adventure that came with riding. The open road called to him, offering both exhilaration and peace. When not riding, he often sought solace by the water with a fishing pole in hand—relishing the quiet moments surrounded by nature.
Family was at the heart of everything Travis did. He treasured time spent with loved ones—whether gathered around the living room watching the Chiefs game or playing cards late into the evening. Win or lose, those moments were always filled with laughter and love.
Travis was devoted to his faith and found spiritual fulfillment attending Royal Heights Baptist Church on Sundays. His presence there reflected his commitment to community and personal growth.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Shayla Bebee, Cierra Bebee, and Chloe Bebee; siblings Charles Felts, Roxanna Neblett (Craig Neblett), and Troy Bebee; aunts Bea Hicks and Joann Adamson; nieces Lacie Smith (Matt Smith) and Ashley Cooper; and grandchildren Braelyn Hopkins, Bayleigh Hopkins, and Little Andy. And many cousins and close friends that he considered family.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Jean Bebee, as well as his daughter Katie Bebee.
His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched—with kindness, laughter, and unwavering support. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
