(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Angela M. Tallant, age 70, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Born on February 13, 1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Angela spent most of her life in Mesquite, Texas (primarily in the Mesquite area), where she built a life centered around family, hard work, and love for those closest to her. She retired from a career in a land title insurance company, where she served as an abstractor and took pride in her work.
Angela was a true Texas woman at heart. She loved fishing, cooking, and especially bringing her family together for Sunday dinners. Those gatherings were a special tradition she deeply cherished. She also loved her dog, Psycho, and found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of everyday life.
Above all else, Angela’s greatest love was her son, Rusty. He was the center of her world, and she treasured him deeply. Her devotion to her family defined her life, and she will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering love.
She is survived by her son, Rusty Tallant, and his wife Crystal; her brother, Paul Price; her sister, Connie McElyea; her niece, Lindsey McElyea; her grandchildren; numerous cousins; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Price and Clarence Price.
A funeral service will be held on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at:

Angela’s life will be remembered through the love she gave, the meals she shared, and the family she held so close to her heart. Her memory will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
