(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Shannon Ace Robison, 32, of the Greenfield and Lockwood area, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2026. He was born April 6, 1994.
Shannon grew up in the area and attended Dadeville Elementary School and Lockwood High School. He later worked in construction and wasn't afraid of hard work or getting his hands dirty.
Shannon never really met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with just about anyone, anywhere, and somehow make it feel like they had known each other for years. Making friends came naturally to him, and once you were someone Shannon cared about, he was fiercely loyal.
If you knew Shannon, chances are he made you laugh. He was goofy, always joking around, and rarely passed up an opportunity to give someone a hard time. He was also a notorious germaphobe, yet somehow could never seem to keep track of his own belongings. Hats, sunglasses, and whatever else he had with him had a habit of being left behind wherever Shannon went.
He was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, loved to cook, and beneath all of the jokes had an incredibly sensitive heart. Shannon felt things deeply, even when he didn't always show it, and cared fiercely about the people he loved.
Above all, Shannon was a dad. His children were an incredibly important part of his life, and they will forever carry pieces of their dad with them—his humor, his heart, and the stories that will continue to be told about him for years to come.
Shannon is survived by his children, Lilah Robison, Jude Robison, and Dwayne Pecor; his father and stepmother, Ryan and Holli Robison; his mother, Loretta Robison; his siblings, Paige Robison, Addison Robison, Sapaula Thompson, and Dylan Urtado; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Lambeth; his maternal grandfather, Robert Thompson; and his grandmother, Kim McKenzie of Greenfield, Missouri.
He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Crystal and Dustin Peterson, and cousin Alex Peterson of St. Louis, Missouri; his aunt and uncle, Sidney and Stacey Jones; and his aunt and uncle, Jody and Shelly Jones, all of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; as well as many beloved cousins, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Cover, and his paternal grandfather, Ray Lambeth.
Thirty-two years was nowhere near enough.
Shannon will be remembered for the things that made him unmistakably Shannon: his goofy sense of humor, his ability to talk to anyone, his fierce loyalty, the germaphobe who somehow left his belongings everywhere, his love of cooking and the Cowboys, and the sensitive heart behind all of the jokes.
There will always be stories that begin with, "Remember when Shannon..."
There will always be people who wish they could hear him tell one more joke, eat one more meal he cooked, or watch him walk back through the door looking for the hat or sunglasses he left behind.
He was here. He was loved. And he will be missed more than words can say.
Services for Shannon will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenfield Funeral Chapel in Greenfield, Missouri.
A private family graveside service will immediately follow at Pennsboro Cemetery. The family appreciates the understanding and respect of their privacy during this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Shannon consider contributing to an education fund established for his children. Donations may be made to the account at Great Southern Bank under the name of his mother, Loretta Robison.
