(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Debra Elaine Childers of Commerce, OK passed from this life Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 60.
Debra was born July 29, 1966 in Anaheim, CA to Wayne Breeding and Sandra Sue Eskina. She had lived in Commerce all her life and graduated from Commerce High School Class of 1984. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had worked at Windridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Miami, OK for the past 3 years and before that she had worked 20 plus years at Integris Miami Hospital. Debra was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Commerce, OK.
Debra was preceded in death by 1 son, Kelly Ross, 1 daughter, Michelle Ross and her father Wayne Breeding,
Debra is survived by 1 son, John Childers of Commerce, OK, 2 daughters, Brandi Childers of Joplin, MO and Alyssa Yeoman and husband Jon of Joplin, MO, her parents, Sandra and Captain Ross of Commerce, OK, 2 brothers, Steven Breeding of Commerce, OK and Captain Ross, Jr. of Commerce, OK and 5 grandchildren, Jordan Wilkerson, Gregory Woodcock, Catalina Woodcock, Patience Childers and Heaven Childers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026 at Faith Tabernacle Church in Commerce, OK. Pastor Danny Showen will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
