Bobby Gene Caldwell, age 95, passed away on October 24, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born on March 4, 1931, to Herman Caldwell and Goldie (Richardson) Caldwell in Anderson, Missouri.

Following his marriage to Bonnie Sue McGaugh on February 23, 1952, Bob and Bonnie moved to Neosho to begin their new life together. Two sons were born to this union, Larry Joe and Dennis Ray.

Bob began his working life at Big Smith Manufacturing Company, where he worked from 1950 to 1959. He then worked at Rocketdyne from 1959 to 1968 and Teledyne from 1968 to 1993, when he retired. In 1972, he also started his own extermination business, which he continued to operate until June 1, 2013.

Bob proudly served in the Missouri National Guard from 1948 to 1958 as a Communication Sergeant. He was honorably discharged in 1958.

His faith was an important part of his life. Bob was a charter member of both Fellowship Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church. From 1987 until January 2012, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he actively served as a deacon and Sunday School Director.

Bob is survived by his son, Larry Caldwell, and his wife, Karen, of Aurora, Missouri; two granddaughters, Kristy (Caldwell) Wilson and her husband, Justin, and Kathy (Caldwell) McVey and her husband, Eric; and eight grandchildren: Aubrey, Landon, Kaylee, Kadynce, Kenzie, Ember, Bella, and Myla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bonnie Caldwell, and his son, Dennis Caldwell.

Bob was a God-loving man whose faith and family were the center of his life. He loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with those he loved. His faith, love, and devotion to his family will forever be remembered.

Services will be officiated by Reverend Buddy Funk and held at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri, on Friday, October 30, 2026. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow.
