(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)Beverly Jane Rowray, 71, of Cassville, MO. (formerly of Waterloo, IA) passed away on the evening of Friday, October 23, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Beverly Jane Bettis was born November 17, 1954 in Cedar Falls, IA, the daughter of Clifford Marvin Sr. and Margaret Ann (Crow) Bettis. She graduated from Dunkerton Community School in 1972. On September 15, 1973 she was married to Robert Frank Rowray, they later divorced. Beverly had several different careers in her lifetime, retiring in 2026.
Beverly loved gardening, being outdoors, spending time with her dogs and especially time spent with family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hopper; children, Shane (Dawn Flockhart) Rowray of Waterloo, IA., Brandi Bresson of Vinton, IA., Shannon (Angel) Hopper, Brandy (Jamie) Burns, Katie Hopper and Kellie Hopper; sister, Peggy Bettis of Waterloo, IA.; her brother, Charles (Terry) Bettis Sahuarita, AZ.; her mother-in-law, Doris Dalby; 19 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clifford Marvin Bettis Jr. and a niece, Jerusalem Bettis.
No services are planned.
