(From Meadors Funeral Home)Michael Ray Bartkoski was born April 9, 1964 in Monett, Missouri to Daniel and Loretta (Uhrig) Bartkoski and passed away on October 9, 2026 in Wentworth, Missouri, at the age of 62 years and six months.
He was a lifelong resident of the Pierce City/Wentworth, Missouri area and built a distinguished reputation as a farmer and an over-the-road truck driver. He was known for his reliability, dedication, and attention to detail. He never met a stranger, had an unforgetable smile, and was a master at sharing his gift of hospitality.
He was a member of St. Agnes Church on the Prairie in Sarcoxie and a 1982 graduate of East Newton High School. He particularly enjoyed visiting with his classmates whenever he saw them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Loretta Bartkoski, his parents-in-law, Jake and Virginia Rogers, and a sister-in-law, Donna Robinson.
Michael was united in marriage to Jennifer (Rogers) Bartkoski on September 1, 2007, and she survives. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy (Brian) Swadner of Joplin, Missouri; his brother Randy (Debi) Bartkoski of Cape Fair, Missouri; brother-in-law Jay Robinson of Tallahassee, Florida; sister-in-law Vicki (Jim) Hancock of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; sister-in-law Nancy (Tony) Geren of Anna, Texas; brother-in-law Tim (Christi) Rogers of Billings, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Michael will be laid to rest with a private graveside service at Union Ridge Cemetery in Clever, Missouri on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 with Rev. Dale Grubaugh officiating. Services are under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri.
