Randy Vaught

(From Stumpff Funeral Home)

Randy Dale Vaught, 66, of Crane, Missouri passed away at his home, on October 6, 2026. Born on September 19, 1960, in Aurora, Missouri. Randy lived a life filled with family, friendships, music, laughter and unwavering faith in God.

Randy began his working years at the casket factory in Crane, MO. Worked with his dad at Shade Tree Service Co. After that he began dairy farming with Ronnie and Jane Stephens and later became the proud co-owner at Vaught’s Tree Service.

Music was into Randy’s life from the very beginning. Growing up, he shared a special love of music with his dad and brother. Some of his fondest memories were playing music together. Randy loved playing the bass and steel guitar. Music remained a lifelong passion. It was more than just something he enjoyed, it was part of who he was and a connection to the family he loved so deeply. We can only imagine the beautiful music being played in heaven as reunites with his dad again. But if there was one thing that truly defined Randy, it was his love for everybody. Randy loved everybody, and everybody loved him. He truly never met a stranger and if you crossed paths with him, chances are, you walked away with a friend. He had the biggest, genuine heart. His friendship were countless and his love for others knew no boundaries.

Above all, Randy loved his family. His children, grandchildren and great grandson were among his greatest blessings. There was nothing more important to than being their dad and PaPa. His love for them was deep, genuine, and unconditional. No matter where life took him or what challenges came his way, the love for his family never changed, and nothing could ever compare.

Randy also shared a special bond with his uncles and aunt, who meant the world to him, he loved all the stories and memories they shared together. He also leaves behind countless cousins, extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by his love and friendship.

Randy’s faith in God and Jesus Christ was deeply rooted in his heart. He had begun attending New Beginnings Church in Crane, MO. His family takes comfort in knowing that life is not the end but the beginning of eternity with his Heavenly Father.

Randy was preceded in death by his beloved parents; Robert “Bob” and Shirley Vaught, along with other cherished family members who have gone on before him.

Randy is survived by his two daughters, Tara Lynn Campbell and Roxie Laine Vaught from Crane. Five grandchildren; Robert Paul Campbell, Crane, MO. Tyler Randale and Journey Campbell, Crane, MO. E.J. Vaught, Crane, MO. Olivia Vaught from Mt. Vernon, MO. Raven Vaught from Crane, MO and one great grandson Randale Tyson Campbell from Crane, MO.

He is survived by his brother Greg and Angel from Crane, MO, his sister Tena Reel. Nephew Will Vaught and his family from Crane, MO. Nieces, Miranda Moriondo and family from Mt. Vernon, MO; Emily Bradfield and family from Crane, MO, Addie Moore and Family from Springfield and Zoe Reel and family from Cape Fair, MO.

Randy life was never measured by what he had, but how deeply he loved and how many lives he touched. He leaves us with a lifetime of memories, a thousand reasons to smile, and stories that will be told for generations. And while the music may have stopped here on earth, we know the song continues in Heaven.

Until we meet again, Randy. We love you more than you’ll ever know and you will be truly missed.

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

And now these three remain;

Faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.
