Louise Mitchell

Alice Louise Mitchell, age 75, of Lanagan, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 8, 1950, in Guymon, Oklahoma.

Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her family. She found joy in cooking, traveling, listening to music, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, quick wit, generous heart, and endless willingness to give to others touched the lives of everyone who knew and loved her.






She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Mitchell, of the home; her two children, Emory Mitchell and wife Shanna of Joplin, Missouri, and Pam Hackett and husband Jason of Anderson, Missouri; her 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, Jason, Raven, Vianna, Rylie, Madison, Hailey, Sage, and Isabella; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Irene of Neosho, Missouri, Elizabeth of Neosho, Missouri, and JR Perez of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, along with a host of beloved friends and extended family.

Louise was preceded in death by her loving parents, Aurelio and Esther Perez, her sister Bernadine Perez and her brother, Robert Perez.








Her love, laughter, generosity, and the memories she created with her family will remain in their hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services will be held on October 8, 2026, at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 6:00 p.m.

Services will be officiated by her loving nephew, David Mitchell.
