(From Clark Funeral Home)Larry G. Harris, 81, entered into rest on October 17, 2026, in the comfort of his home in Stark City, MO. He was born March 29, 1945, in Stella, MO to Harold and Cynthia (Poor) Harris.
Larry married the love of his life Maxine (Poe) Harris in May of 1964 and she survives. He is also survived by his children Melissa Brunner and husband Rob, Marla Harris and boyfriend Darin, and Sam Harris and wife Shelley; grandchildren (8) Tyler White and wife Cassie, McKenzie Hofheins and husband Justyn, Milton Brunner, Georgia Mae Harris, Adaline Harris, Cecilia Harris, Amza-Rae Harris, and Polly Harris; great-grandchildren (1) Lilianna White.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Cynthia (Poor) Harris; brother Terry Harris.
Larry met the love of his life in school at Fairview, MO and shortly after graduation they moved to Clovis, NM where he worked on the Santa Fe railroad for 15 years before retiring to come back home to farm where he spent the remainder of his life. He enjoyed farming and traveling with his wife. He was a lifetime Elks Club member of 57 years.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
