(From Ozark Funeral Home)Billy Don Mullin Jr.,passed away October 29, 2026 a beloved son, brother, and family member, was born on October 25, 1966, in Kansas City, Kansas, to the late Billy Don Mullin and Frances Earlene Mullin. Billy spent 39 years as a resident of McDonald County Living Center, where he became part of a community of caregivers, staff, and friends who shared in his life along the way. His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to each and every person who has been a part of Billy's life. Your kindness, compassion, love, and care will never be forgotten. You each made a difference in his life, and our family will forever be thankful.
Billy had his own special way of enjoying life and finding happiness in the little things. He loved his loud toys, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, watches, and, perhaps most of all, getting his hands on his sister's cell phone! These simple things brought him joy and gave those around him reasons to smile. Billy reminded us that happiness doesn't always come from the big things in life, but often from the little moments that make us laugh and warm our hearts.
Billy will be remembered for the special place he held in his family's hearts. His life was a reminder that love comes in many forms, and that every life leaves a lasting mark on those who are blessed to be part of it. Though his time with us has come to an end, the memories, love, and smiles he gave us will live on forever.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Don Mullin; his mother, Frances Earlene Mullin; and his nephew, Zachary Eric Geeding.
He leaves behind his loving siblings: Russell Mullin and wife Kim of Pineville, Missouri; Sarah Boyd and husband Steven of Neosho, Missouri; Frank Mullin of New York; and his aunt Alice Mullin of Joplin, Missouri. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing Billy is reunited with his mom, dad, and nephew. He will be missed more than words can express, but he will never be forgotten. He will forever remain a part of our hearts. A celebration of Billy's life will be held at a later date. Rest peacefully, Billy. You were loved, you mattered, and your life made a difference.
Sarah Boyd
