Jacee Rae Miksell, 15, Diamond, died Monday, January 4, 2016 from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident.
Jacee was born March 23, 2000 in Joplin, the daughter of Gary and Christy (Emory) Miksell. She was a lifelong area resident and a sophomore student at Diamond Public Schools. Jacee was an honor student played softball at the Diamond High School and competitive softball with the ‘Elite Heat’ team from Seneca. She attended the Harvestime Assembly of God Church at Fidelity and the Diamond First Baptist Church in Diamond.
Jacee is survived by her parents, Gary and Christy Miksell of Diamond; two sisters, Shae Ewan and husband, Derrick and Kylea Miksell of Diamond; one niece, Kloe Ewan; maternal grandparents, Kim and Linda Emory of Diamond; paternal grandmother, Diane Edmondson of Granby and numerous other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry Edmondson and aunt, Michelle Spencer.
