Marilyn Sue Taiclet, 71, of Joplin, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 28, 2015 at Freeman Hospital.
Marilyn was born October 30, 1944 to the late William Stanford Miller and Freda Mae Young Miller in Joplin, Missouri. Marilyn worked as a nurse aide for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Joplin.
On September 29, 1963, Marilyn married Lawrence Taiclet in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2010.
Surviving Marilyn are sons, Vincent Taiclet of Red Oak, Texas, Christopher Taiclet and wife, Christina of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Melissa Taiclet and husband, Eddie of Miami, Oklahoma and Connie Culbertson and her husband, Jeffrey of Cedar Hill, Texas; grandchildren, Jordan, Julia, Genevieve, Grantland, David and Christopher.
A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, February 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
