Richard N. 'Rick' Jordan, Jr., age 58, Joplin, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Landmark Hospital after a long illness.

Rick was born February 19, 1957 in Joplin to Patricia Moran Jordan and the late Richard N. Jordan, Sr. and had lived in Joplin most of his life.

If you ever played a game of pool at the OK Bar & Grill, you'll likely remember Rick Jordan. A lover of the blues and music in general, he'd answer your music questions with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. Rick loved poetry, fishing, and was amazing at math (we called him a human calculator). He was a competitive pool player and a longtime member of a local league. He was proud to be a Jordan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked at Pepsi, Inc. for several years before working at Able Body for 25 years, ending his career as a planning engineer.

Rick married Diane Scott on September 27, 1997 in Webb City. She survives at the home.
