Robert William Redick, also known as Bob or Pops, age 71 of Webb City, MO, passed away at his home on January 15, 2016.
Born April 19, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Wayne Robert Redick and Mathel A. Carpenter Redick. He graduated from Glendora High School and South Bay Trade School in California. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. For 40 years, he owned and operated his own auto body and fender shop. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He loved babies, show cars and motorcycles. He wanted people to remember him as "Pops" and to remember the respect.
On April 22, 1978, he married Elizabeth Ann Chavez in Las Vegas, NV. She survives and they were best friends.
Additional survivors include sons Josef Redick of the home and David W. Redick of California, daughters Krystal Peterson of Corpus Christi, TX and Laura Redick of Wildomar, CA, son Trevor Redick of Murrieta, CA; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Bill Redick of Bakersfield, CA; numerous extended family and his best buddy.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. At his request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the surviving 13 year old son, Josef.
