Sharon Knight, 64, Neosho, died peacefully in her sleep on January 3, 2016 at her home.
She was born September 20, 1951 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the daughter of Theon and Marie (Schoen) Schaefer. Sharon moved to Neosho 37 years ago from Scott City, Missouri and was a homemaker. She loved being with her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon married Karl Knight and he survives. Also surviving are two children, Charles David McClendon and Michael Ray McClendon; three brothers, Vernon Schaefer, Gilbert Schaefer and Michael Schaefer; two sisters, Dorene Hamm and Mary Fowler; and seven grandchildren. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Pat Blankenship and two brothers, Vincent Schaefer and Theon Schaefer, Jr.
