Thomas Andrews

Thomas C. (T.C.) Andrews, age 72 of Jasper, MO passed away at his home on Thursday, January 14, 2016.

Born June 29, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Frank Byron and Annis Bell Scott Anderson

He married Roberta F. Larimer on June 5, 1966. She survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Jodi Lynn Truelove and husband Lon of Fort Smith, AR, Deborah Michelle Scott and husband Casey of Charleston, IL; seven grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

He graduated from Antelope Valley High School in California and attended California Polytechnic State University and University of Nebraska at Omaha. He received his Certificate of Ministry from Ozark Christian College.

From 1966-1970 he served in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic and held the rank of Staff Sergeant. He then worked for Peerless Pump as a hydrodynamics engineer and retired from KOBC Radio as an underwriting manager.

He was a former mayor of Purcell and was a member of Christ's Church of Oronogo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Byron Andrews, Jr. and Allen Lee Andrews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Christ's Church of Oronogo with Ken Ansley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Friends Cemetery in Purcell, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
