Ronald M. Latch, age 79 of Joplin, Mo. left this Earth on Monday, January 18, 2016.
He leaves behind his wife of fifty-nine years, Barbara (Watson) Latch; three daughters, Rhonda Todd of the Houston area, Kimberly Latch of Monett, and Dawna Latch and fiancé Bill Green of Seneca; one sister, Barbara Nail; and one step-sister Linda Ginger. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Lee ad Caitlin; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ron was born on September 30, 1936 in Clarion, Iowa. He moved to Joplin with his parents in 1950. He worked for the Joplin Police Department for fourteen years, and was a truck driver for WC Transport the last several years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ray Latch and Charlotte (Pain) Latch; step-mother, Marie Latch; and sisters Peggy Meacham and Colleen Howell.
Cremation is under the direction of Mason-Woodard Crematory.
The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to Mercy Hospice in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
