Brooke Robinson

Brooke Nicolle Robinson, age 12 of Joplin, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 in Joplin, Missouri. 

Brooke was born July 2, 2004 in Joplin, beloved daughter of Jay Robinson and Mackenzie Welton Robinson, sister of Taylor Robinson. She was a student at East Middle School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad, basketball and track team, she also enjoyed playing soccer while growing up. Brooke was a member of the East Middle School student council and was looking forward to her role as a web leader in the upcoming school year as an eighth-grader. She was a "Big Sister" to many of her younger friends, and looked up to her very own Big sister, Taylor. Anything Taylor was involved with, Brooke followed in her footsteps. She was a very active beautiful girl with a vibrant smile and a heart of gold that would light up any room. She managed to make you laugh everyday. Brooke enjoyed more than anything our family outings and just spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dan Welton, Frank Robinson, Larry Curtman, and her great-grandparents.

Survivors include her parents, Jay and Mackenzie Robinson; sister, Taylor Robinson; grandparents, Deborah French of Joplin, Minnie Robinson of Crocker, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Jaremi Welton and wife Sarah of Neosho, Missouri, Dale Robinson and wife Judy of Florida, Willie Robinson and wife Kelly of Richland, Missouri, Edward Robinson of Irving, Texas, Erick Robinson of Waynesville, Missouri, Kevin Curtman of Springfield, Missouri, Joey Curtman of Buckhorn, Missouri, Rey Peterson and husband Charlie of Crocker, Eunice Clark and husband James of Laurenburg, North Carolina, Reba Null and husband Billy of Dixon, Missouri; numerous cousins, and great uncles and aunts.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Jeremy Ritchie, Area Director with Young Life, officiating Interment will follow in Osborne Memorial Park Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. 

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Brooke Robinson Memorial Fund set up through the Pinnacle Bank, 802 S. Main St., Joplin, MO 64801.
