Charles (Chuck) Williams, 75, Seneca, MO passed away May 29, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.
Charles Lee Williams was born December 7, 1941 to Daniel Franklin and Dorothy Faye (Brown) Williams. Chuck was a Seneca High School graduate and was a United States Navy Veteran. He formerly worked as a law enforcement officer for the City of Seneca, a volunteer firefighter for the City of Seneca, a security officer for the former St. John’s Regional Medical Center and the Out Post Casino. Chuck loved woodworking, Flea Markets, and online poker. He often stated that he was a Jack of all trades and master of none. He was a member of Seneca Christian Church.
Charles L. Williams married Mary Flaherty May 7, 1992 and she survives.
Additional survivors include; children, DaNell Loar and husband Robert, Joplin, Charles (Jacob) Williams, Seneca, Michael D. Williams (adopted), Tulsa, Debra Carrick (stepdaughter), Oklahoma City, Kathy Robertson (stepdaughter), Oklahoma City, Michael Smith (stepson), Fort Scott, Danny Williams (adopted), Joplin, Josiah Williams (adopted), Seneca, Gabriel Smith (stepdaughter), Joplin and Damion Childers (stepson); one sister, Linda Mersman and husband Rick, Wyandotte; one brother, Darrell Williams, Miami; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body has been taken for cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM, June 24, 2017 at Hornet Christian with Dan Wohlenhaus officiating.
