David Lawrence Allen, 52, Neosho, entered into rest on October 1, 2017 in Neosho.
David was born May 31, 1965 in Stella, the son of Robert T. and Carol Ann (McTeer) Allen. He was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Talbot Wire, Red’s Tire and managed a roofing crew. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking his grandchildren fishing and collecting coins. He was a member of the Church of Hope.
David and Thelma M. (Thurston) were married on April 26, 2013 in Neosho and she survives. Additional survivors include four children, Stephanie Nicole Pritchard and husband, Adam of Omaha, Nebraska, Brittany M. Jordan and husband, A.J. of Joplin, Todd Allen and wife, Raven of Carthage and Summer Krackor of Purdy; his parents, Robert and Carol Allen of Neosho; two brothers, Steve Allen and wife, Tracy of Neosho and Kevin Allen and wife, Donna of Joplin and six grandchildren, Zachariah Lawrence Jett, Addison Grace-Laine Pritchard, Amelia Raye-Lynn Jordan, Trinity Nichole Allen, Todd Patrick Allen, Jr. and Calliope Ann-Lee Jordan.
David has been taken for cremation and private family services will be held.
