Charles Lofton

Charles Elden Lofton, 67, entered into rest at his Neosho, Missouri home on August 12, 2020. He was born September 11, 1952 in Merced, California to June (Vannest) and Merle Lofton. 

Charles was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam era. He worked as a truck driver for Tyson Foods. Charles enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, arrowhead hunting, sharpening his knife, and loved history. Charles especially loved his family. 

Charles and Sharen (Case) Lofton were married September 23, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV; she survives of the home. 








He is also survived by one son, Aaron Lofton of Neosho; three sisters, Delores Navarro, Pam Lofton, and Donna Lofton, all of California; six grandchildren, Angel, Gump, DesaRae, Challes, Jeffery, and Dalbie; and four great grandchildren, Charlie, Madison, Paisley, and Michael. 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jeffery; two brothers, Michael and Dennis; and one sister, Teresa.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO. Brother Mike Rhodes will officiate. A time of visitation will be held Tuesday beginning at 9:00 am until service time. 

Following the services, interment will take place at Tracy Cemetery, Anderson, MO, with Aaron Lofton, Gump Lofton, Jon-Michael Kershaw, Challes Lofton, Dalbie Lofton, and Chantaile Flood serving as pallbearers.
