Stephen Michael “Mike” Wallace, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Freeman Hospital, following a sudden illness.
Mike was born on May 12, 1951 in Lubbock, TX, the son of Jack Leroy Wallace and Betty Gene Nicholson Wallace.
Mike graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City Kansas. He worked at CFI as a L&D Specialist Lead. He was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed old cars and guns. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He married the love of his life, Susan Ferrell, on June 15, 199.1 in Maryland Heights, MO, and she survives. Those also surviving are; one daughter, Kristina Dianne “Kristi” Collins and husband Mark, Gulfport , MS; three sons John Mark Wallace, Odessa, MO, Brett David Wallace, Knob Noster, MO, and Terrance Michael Wallace, Odessa, MO; a brother, David Glenn Wallace and wife Heather, Kansas City, MO; a sister, Patti Denise Motley and husband Bob, East Lansing, MI; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wildwood Baptist Church. Pastor Lew Poe, Mike Curry and Pastor Jordan Bence will officiate. Entombment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum.
The visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wildwood Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Wildwood Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
