Richard L. Chrisman age 86 of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Webb City Health & Rehab. Richard was born on December 11, 1933 in Carterville, Missouri to the union of Frank & Beulah (Waggoner) Chrisman.
He graduated from Carterville High School in the class of 1951. Richard worked at P.P. G. Industries for 27 ½ years, Leggett & Platt for 10 years, Newman’s Department Store for a year and Suburban Mobile Home Parts for 2 years, and then he retired in 1995.
He was united in marriage to Lorene “Lolly” (Robinson) Patterson on September 24, 1966 and she preceded him in death in 2003.
Richard was also preceded in death by a son, Wesley Kyle in 1969, his parents; his mother in law, Hayden M. Robinson; and 2 daughters, Patty Butler and Tanja Everitt.
He is survived by 3 sons, Rick Chrisman and wife Vickie, John H. Patterson, Robert L. Chrisman and wife Becky; a sister, Jacqueline Woolsey; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Crypt side services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Richard will lie in state between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City on Wednesday.
