Katherine M. “Ball” Robinson, 95, passed away August 23, 2020 in Carthage, Missouri. Katherine was born March 11, 1925 in Holyoke, MN to Thomas Arthur Ball and Margaret “Heinz” Ball.
She was a homemaker and made bombs during World War II and also worked as a meat wrapper before she started to have a family. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Katherine volunteered at the Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital for over 40 years in the gift shop and the front desk as well as the Red Cross.
Katherine was united in marriage to Charles J. Robinson June 16, 1945 in Minneapolis Minnesota, he preceded her in death October 16, 1991.
Katherine is survived by one daughter Kathy Parker (Terry) of Carthage, MO, one son Danny Charles Robinson (Lisa) of Webb City, MO. seven grandchildren; Karena Boyd, Charles Glenn Robinson III, Joseph Kelly Robinson, Timothy Adron Robinson, Janae E. Robinson, Hannah M. Robinson, Morgan Elizabeth Robinson, four great grandchildren; Peyton Adamson, Liam Adamson, Brayden Harris, Greyson Palmer-Robinson, one brother Sylvester Ball, numerous nieces and nephews.
Katherine is preceded by her parents and her husband, one sister; Margaret S. Ball, three brothers; Irwin Ball, Earl Ball, and Gordon Ball.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday August 28, 2020 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday August 27, 2020 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
