Zack was born February 11, 1984 in Joplin, and had lived in the Joplin area all his life. He graduated from Webb City High School, and was known for being a hard worker. He was currently working at CNC Machine Products, where he has worked for several years. He was a member of Joplin Family Worship Center.
Zack was athletic, and enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and canoeing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his girls and his Papa Carr. He really enjoyed the trips with his family to Silver Dollar City. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Zack was preceded in death by an infant son Alexander Noah Carr; his grandmothers, Sue Carr and Donna Laughlin; and three uncles, Tom Gibson, Tony Carr, and Tim Carr.
Survivors include his mother, Terri Laughlin Carr of Carl Junction; father, Eric V. Carr of Joplin; children, Ashlyn Carr and Ariel Carr; brothers, Trevor Carr and Caleb Carr; special niece and nephews, Riley, Caden and Landon; grandfather, Roger Laughlin (Carolyn) of Carl Junction, Dennis Carr of Webb City; aunts, Sara Goswick (Tad), Cherée Selson; uncles, Joshua Laughlin, Justin Hobbs; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Joplin Family Worship Center with Pastor Daniel H. Wermuth, II officiating.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
