Donna Sue Nance, age 67, of Neosho, Missouri (previously of Oskaloosa) passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Neosho Freeman Hospital.
Donna was born October 9, 1952 to William H. and Mary V.(Selvy) Nance in Centerville, Iowa. She attended Oskaloosa High School and graduated with the Class of 1970.
She later worked very hard to earn her R.N. while being a single mother of three boys and became a N.I.C.U. nurse in first Lubbock, Texas and then in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She truly loved working in the N.I.C.U. and touched the lives of countless families throughout her career at both hospitals. The only little humans that Donna loved nearly as much as her boys were all the babies in those units.
Donna is survived by her three sons, Troy L. (Janis) Bowen of McKinney, Texas, Brent W. and Matthew W. Bowen of Neosho, Missouri and three grandsons Grayson Bowen of McKinney, Texas, Seaver (Ellie) Bowen of Stephenville, Texas and Brady Bowen of Greenville, Texas and her "chosen" children Ty and Jessica McKinney of Neosho. Donna is also survived by her brother Danny L. (Mary) Nance and her two sisters Debra A. (Emory) Van Engelenhoven of Oskaloosa and Billie Nance of Sigourney, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; two aunts: Wandah Selvy of Lovilia, Linda (Selvy) Wemhoff of Missouri an uncle Dean Lewin of Knoxville and many, many cousins.
Donna was proceeded in death by her parents.
